Carol Denise Hough Graham

 

Carol Denise Hough Graham is a graduate of Winthrop University, where she earned a degree in Business Administration and later a certification in Business Education. In 1993, she earned a Master’s Degree in Education from National-Louis University, Evanston, Illinois. Mrs. Graham has been employed as an educator for twenty years. She is employed as a career development coordinator with the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District and is also employed as an adjunct instructor with Central Piedmont Community College.

 

When she is not working, she spends her time singing, playing, and creating music. She studied piano at Winthrop University and clarinet at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte. She plays clarinet for her church orchestra, Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She also sings with the Charlotte Contemporary Ensemble, a paraprofessional choral group where she has been a member since 1998. During her tenure in the US Army, she auditioned and became the female vocalist for the 77th Army Show Band, a touring show band that performed through Europe. From 1992-1993, she toured overseas with a gospel group known as the Jackson Singers and sings solo on one the recordings that was made by the group.
